Also called AI project
A workspace in an AI app that keeps related chats, files and instructions together, so every chat in it starts with that background.
Without a project, each new chat starts from nothing but your general settings. With one, it starts with the files and instructions you put there: a style guide, last term's notes, the spec for the thing you're building.
That makes projects the easiest way to stop repeating yourself. They also keep things apart. Your work drafts don't leak into your holiday planning, and you can tell the AI to behave differently in each place: formal in one, blunt in another.

A "House move" project holds the tenancy agreement, the removal quotes and a note that you're moving on 14 March, so you never explain it twice.
