How to reach us, and what to try first.Write to connect@tecyfy.com at any time.
Write to us
In the app, open You, then Settings, then Send feedback. It reaches the people who make Daily Bytes, and it carries your Reader ID so we can find your progress.
If you write by email instead, copy the Reader ID from the foot of Settings into your message. It is a random ID, not your name, and it is the only way we can tell which reader you are.
My progress is gone
Daily Bytes has no accounts. Your streak, garden and finished bytes belong to a random ID kept on your device and, on iPhone and iPad, in your Apple Keychain (on Android, in Google Block Store), so a reinstall or a new phone signed in to the same Apple or Google account finds them again.
If they did not come back, send us the Reader ID from the old device if you still have it, or tell us roughly when you last read and which course you were in.
The daily reminder does not arrive
Open You, then Settings, and tap the daily reminder. Check that it is on, that the time is right, and that notifications are allowed for Daily Bytes in your phone's settings. "Send a test reminder" on that page shows within a minute whether your phone delivers it.
A byte is wrong or out of date
Open You, then Settings, then Send feedback, and choose "A problem". Name the byte, say what is wrong and, if you can, where you read otherwise. We check every report and correct the byte for everyone.
AI features
The iPhone and iPad app has no AI features. On Android, Ask Bytes and the Explain It Back feedback are optional: you can turn them off in You, then Settings, then AI features. With them off, reading, quizzes, streaks and reminders work exactly the same.
Delete my data
In the app, open You, then Settings, and choose Delete my data. This erases everything stored for your Reader ID, on our servers and on your device, and cannot be undone. If you no longer have the app, write to us with your Reader ID and we will erase it.
Your data
What the app keeps, and what it never asks for, is on the privacy page.
